Aftermarket Dodge Durango 2004-2006 Bumper Kits
The Dodge Durango is a full-size SUV produced by the Chrysler Group LLC from 2004 to 2006. This vehicle was offered in rear-wheel or all-wheel drive option, and was powered by either a 3.7 L V6 engine or an available 5.7 L HEMI V8, making it an ideal option for those who wanted both power and size. The Durango boasted a spacious interior, capable of comfortably seating seven passengers with its three rows of seating. It also included a host of convenience, technology, and entertainment features, many of which were standard on higher trim levels.
The 2004 model year was the first of the Durango’s third generation, and it saw some significant updates compared to the previous generation. Exterior styling changes included an updated grille and headlights, as well as new wheel designs. Inside, the dash now featured a standard audio system and heated front seats, while also gaining one-touch up/down windows for all four windows. Additionally, this model year marked the introduction of optional satellite radio, plus the availability of leather seating on higher trim levels.
The 2005 model year saw some minor updates, primarily focused on the exterior design. The grille and headlights were slightly adjusted, and new wheel styles were made available. Inside, new two-tone cloth seating became available, along with the addition of a DVD entertainment system. Safety was improved for this model year, with the addition of side curtain air bags and anti-lock brakes as standard equipment.
The 2006 model year was the final year for theDurango. The exterior received minor changes again, including a revised hood and tailgate, as well as new wheel designs. Inside, the dash was refreshed, and the audio system was upgraded to an AM/FM/CD six-disc changer with an auxiliary input jack. The climate control system was also upgraded to a dual-zone automatic system.
Overall, the Dodge Durango was a great SUV, offering a lot of features and capabilities at an affordable price. Its powerful V6 and V8 engines allowed it to easily tow up to 6,600 pounds, while its spacious interior could accommodate up to seven passengers. Its exterior design and interior comfort and convenience features were modern for its time, and these updates carried over throughout the three model years. Whether for work, play, or serious off-road adventures, the Durango was an excellent choice.
